  1. I was wrongfully imprisoned over a traffic violation. The incident happened at approximately 12:00pm. Arrived at the jail 1:00pm, I was not booked in until 2:00am the next morning. The phones were off so know one had any account of my whereabouts. I then was transferred to the north jail where I was put into population and told I had to stay until I was set a bond by the judge at 8:00am. My name was not on the docket when the guards called for arraignment at 8:00. The Guards assured me they would check on the issue and report back to me. That entire day no one ever came back to inform me of my status discrepancy. The phones were still off when I awoke the Third day until 1:00pm then I was able to contact my family to let them know where I was. Livid the assured me I would be released soon. they checked the online inmate search and it showed I was jailed. However, there was no bond information because I was never put on the Docket to be called for Arraignment. The sheriffs department attempted to correct there terribly disorganized bureaucratic mistake by requesting a judge hold an immediate session to have me officially arraigned and a bond set on the charges against me. At this time it is approximately 4:30pm on the Third day as I walk out of arraignment court. I was then given my property and personal clothing and told to get dressed. Once I was dressed I was walked to a Door and the Guard haphazardly apologized for the confusion. He opened the Door to a hallway where I spotted a clock striking 5:00pm. While being processed out a sheriff official commented that I never should have been sent to the North Jail, and that this is why previous law suits were filed against them. Due to there carelessness and Negligence I was fired for not reporting to work for 2 full days. I would sue, but I am unable to afford an attorney and I am unsure if I have substantial evidence against Gregg County
