What do I need to visit an inmate?
All visitors must be properly attired.
Each visitor over the age of 16 must present a valid PHOTO identification issued by the
Texas Dept. of Public Safety (Driver’s license or ID card), or any other U.S. state or Federal
government identification, or a VALID passport. No person will be allowed to visit without
one of the noted forms of identification.
All children MUST remain under the supervision of the adult visitor. If your children
become unruly and disturb other visitors, your visitation may be terminated and you may be
asked to leave.
All visitors must check in with the Receptionist or Control Room Jailer before visiting. Any person found in visitation who has not registered with the jail will be removed from the

Inmate Trust Fund deposit guidelines:
Funds may be deposited in an inmate’s trust fund account in the following manner:
1) By mail, using a postal money order. Money order is to be made out to Chambers County
Sheriff, and note the inmate’s name AND jail number on the money order; make sure you
have the correct inmate number so that your funds can be credited properly.

2) Click “Send an inmate a gift”. This also allows money to be deposited into your trust
3) Select a state
4) Select a county/parish (Chambers County)
5) Select a facility (Chambers County)
6) Choose a name from an alphabetical list
7) Provide the inmate information. Make SURE your friends and family have your correct
Inmate Number, as this is how the funds are credited to your account.
No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued if the wrong inmate is selected.
8) Complete the credit card information.
Tiger Commissary charges a fee of 10% of the amount deposited as a fee for the program.
This money DOES NOT go to Chambers County, nor is it set by Chambers County.
